Upon hiring, any new employee (full-time, part-time or seasonal) is required to have a current (no more than 1 year old) Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check and Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance. New employees, 18 years or older, are also required to complete an FBI Background Check. The township will arrange and conduct the Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check and the FBI Background Check with the new employee. However, the new employee is required to supply the Child Abuse History Clearance at his/her own expense.
