Historical Society of Fort Washington

The Historical Society of Fort Washington was established to study historical subjects and to identify, collect, preserve and/or restore historical buildings, artifacts, landmarks and memorabilia pertaining to Fort Washington and surrounding communities.
In addition to an excellent library and resource center, the Society has monthly programs on the third Tuesday of the month at 8 pm. See their web site at: http://www.amblerhistory.com/

Old York Road Genealogical Society
Mission statement: A member of the Federation of Genealogical Societies, the OYRGS was formed by Al Molitor with the goals: 1. To provide an opportunity for area residents to enjoy together their mutual interest in genealogical research. 2. To educate area residents through lectures, discussions, workshops, and field trips related to genealogy. 3. To assist persons in the pursuit of their family genealogy. 4. To disseminate and publish genealogical information. 5. To generally promote the interest in family genealogy.

Historical Society of Montgomery County, PA
The Historical Society of Montgomery County is the county historical society as designated by the Commissioners of the County of Montgomery, PA. The Society has a library with over 30,000 titles and offers a range of programs.
