Join Miss Barbara for fun reading parties now that you can read an early chapter book!
For children in Kindergarten, Grades 1 & 2. We’ll meet on three different dates. Join us for all of the parties or select just one or two! All parties take place from 6:30-7:15 p.m. No registration necessary. Just pop in to the library program room and join in for a fun time!
- Wednesday, 1/18: Read any Henry and Mudge Easy Reader Chapter book by Cynthia Rylant (features a boy and his dog)
- Wednesday, 2/15: Read any Mercy Watson book by Kate DiCamillo (located in the J Fiction area along the left wall of the children’s room) (features a delightful pig with lots of funny adventures)
- Wednesday, 3/21: Read any Nate the Great book by Marjorie Sharmat in our Easy Reader section of the children’s room (exciting mystery stories featuring Nate, the boy detective)
