Great book with a funny main character who gets in such funny predicaments. – Bonnie

The whale road / Robert Low.
Well-written adventure tale of young Norseman gone to Viking  c965. Very good historical novel—kind of a historical coming of age adventure. Better than Bernard Cornwell’s series about the same era (that series is good, this book is better).
