Old filth / Jane Gardam.
Tight, well written story. Flashbacks well done. Couldn’t put it down. –MJ

Family storms / V.C. Andrews.
This is a good story that keeps your interest, yet isn’t as creepy as V.C. Andrews’ usual. –Sarah

Geektastic : stories from the nerd herd / edited by Holly Black and Cecil Castellucci.

Although a book for the younger crowd, the stories are quick, fun reads for adult geeks as well! For some stories you need prior knowledge of the topic at hand though. –Candice

Pearl Buck in China : journey to The good earth / Hilary Spurling.

Had never read about Pearl Buck before and was fascinated by her life and decisions she made. –Kathy

The bone yard / Jefferson Bass.
Forensic anthropology—a fascinating scary story with mystery solving and long term evil exposed. –Joan
