Great introduction to eating wild plants you might find your backyard. Said to be one of the best books on this topic. –Gratia

The Crowfield curse / Pat Walsh.
A young boy at an abbey discovers a terrible secret that haunts the place where he lives. –Carolyn

Wanted / Shelley Shepard Gray.
Everyone likes to be wanted and needed, the Amish girl in this story is no exception. –Christine

The killing storm : [a mystery] / Kathryn Casey.
Aside from the required plot twists endemic to mysteries this one added genuine connection with the characters. I can see the main characters as a future “Silence of the Lambs” type profiler. –A.

Toys : a novel / by James Patterson and Neil McMahon
this futuristic story of humans & their creations is humorously suspenseful with a bit of violence. –Sarah
