WHYY Bridging Blocks Community Conversations: More than Parks: Green Spaces, Climate, and Community

Date: Thursday, 7/30
Time: 7-8:30p
Age Group: Adult
Registration required - HERE

Program Location: Upper Dublin Library

Description: Join us for this interactive roundtable discussion - Green spaces are essential to our communities, offering a vital connection to nature and the environment around us. Access to green space can look very different than your own lived experience, shaping health, safety, and overall quality of life.

The repercussions of climate change, especially extreme heat, also vary widely depending on location and resources, reinforcing these differences.

Together, we’ll explore: What are the key benefits and impacts of green spaces in our community, our cities, and beyond? How can we thoughtfully balance growth and development while protecting the spaces that support community well-being? And who truly has access to green space—and why?

WHYY Bridging Blocks is an interactive community conversation that brings people together to engage in meaningful civic dialogue on issues that matter.

Upper Dublin Library strives to make our programs accessible for all. For reasonable accommodations, please contact the library at 215-628-8744 or upperdublinlibrary@mclinc.org.
